Adding Windows Media Player to taskbar

logo

Sometimes we may want to go about our computing, whilst still watching our favourite show in Windows media player. Sure, we could keep swapping back and forth between work/facebook/porn to keep up with the simpsons but that leads to inevitable frustration and missing of visual comedy.

So what can we do about this? Well, you can either get a second monitor or use a TV out cable to watch your shows on the big screen….or you could try adding the windows media player to the taskbar!

It is really dead simple, here is how:

  1. Right Click on your taskbar
  2. Highlight toolbars
  3. Select Windows Media Player

Now you can sit back and enjoy your movies/tv shows/music on screen and in your task bar at all times!

If you would like to Remove Windows Media Player from the taskbar just reverse the process and un check Windows Media Player from the toolbar menu.

Hope this helps some of you!

Wow! Thank you for this tip. This is a great idea, I love watching random clips of my favorite shows while I’m tinkering away in my blog so this is perfect.
